We have been given an awesome opportunity to serve each other and the rest of the body of Christ in a variety of ways and we invite you to get involved with one or many of these other ministries. Take time to look through the ministries available to you and pray about where God would have you get involved or even serve.
Ministry Opportunities
The Drug and Alcohol class is a nine-week course designed to share the love, hope, instruction, and encouragement of Jesus Christ with those whose lives are dominated by addiction. The goal of the class is to help people see the problem of addiction the way Jesus sees it. We then teach them how to allow the Holy Spirit to bring about healing and transformation in their lives.
Each class consists of a study in the Scriptures relevant to the problem of addiction, followed by a small group discussion about how to apply the teachings of Jesus to overcome these weaknesses. Spouses and loved ones are encouraged to attend with you.

EVERY MAN’S BATTLE: "Resetting our Moral Compasses" This class is designed to help men with moral purity. In our efforts to live victorious Christian lives and enjoy true intimacy with Christ, it is necessary to "lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us" (Hebrews 12:1). Whether you are struggling with this in your own life or simply want to guard against it, this class will equip and encourage you. We meet at 7:00 PM in the Family Room Thursday's.

The Jail ministry at Calvary ministers to the incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center. This ministry has a dual purpose: evangelism and discipleship. We practice evangelism through the ministry of music and preaching, and discipleship through a follow-up correspondence ministry. Each month there is an outreach opportunity.Phone: 822-0545
