We have been given an awesome opportunity to serve each other and the rest of the body of Christ in a variety of ways and we invite you to get involved with one or many of these other ministries. Take time to look through the ministries available to you and pray about where God would have you get involved or even serve.

The Drug and Alcohol class is a nine-week course designed to share the love, hope, instruction, and encouragement of Jesus Christ with those whose lives are dominated by addiction. The goal of the class is to help people see the problem of addiction the way Jesus sees it. We then teach them how to allow the Holy Spirit to bring about healing and transformation in their lives.
Each class consists of a study in the Scriptures relevant to the problem of addiction, followed by a small group discussion about how to apply the teachings of Jesus to overcome these weaknesses.
You are more than welcome to attend the class at any point during the 9-week session. Spouses and loved ones are encouraged to attend with you.
The class is also open for those who may not be struggling with addiction themselves but know and love someone who is and want to help him or her overcome.

In our efforts to live victorious Christian lives and enjoy true intimacy with Christ, it is necessary to “lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us” (Hebrews 12:1). Whether you are struggling with this in your own life or simply want to guard against it, this class will equip and encourage you.

The Jail ministry at Calvary ministers to the incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center. This ministry has a dual purpose: evangelism and discipleship. We practice evangelism through the ministry of music and preaching, and discipleship through a follow-up correspondence ministry. Each month there is an outreach opportunity.Phone: 839-8912
The mission of this ministry is to reach out to the adjudicated youth in our state. Our focus is Bible study, discipleship, and preparation for independence. Once these young men and women are released, our goal is to encourage and facilitate success by offering not only continued Bible study and discipleship, but also job training and placement.

Our commitment to the Spanish-speaking community is to minister and disciple every person, providing them with the biblical knowledge of what God expects from us, and what we can expect from Him. Our plan is simple - to go verse by verse and line upon line through the scriptures, and use God’s resources to teach all people to observe what Christ commanded.
We are committed to serve God through these people according to the principles in His Word. Our intention is to reach hearts, so they can reach up to God, and reach out to impact neighborhoods, communities, states, and the world.

The Sports Ministry is a unique opportunity for believers to fellowship with one another in addition to the benefit of outreach to our community. The sports ministry aims to provide a variety of fun activities for both youth and adults. Additionally, we seek to creatively reach unbelievers with the love of Christ through interaction and fellowship with His people.
